Tatucyo Factory Tour 2015
Tatucyo, Sailun’s long-term Japan representative, arrived in Qingdao with a large group of customers to gain a better look at the brand they’ve worked with for the past nine years.
Being their first time to bring a large group to the factory, Sailun was excited to satiate their curosity. The Tatucyo group was taken to the Sailun manufacturing base in Huangdao to gain a better understanding as to why Sailun offers tier two quality at a tier three price.
The walkthrough began by presenting the quality process and control system used to ensure Sailun’s quality pledge. Afterwards, they were walked through each step of the manufacturing process to introduce, in detail, the sophisticated equipment and materials used to produce a finished tire.
The group was also given a tour of where the Sailun engineers develop and test all parts of tires for the international and domestic markets. The R&D Center provided introductions of the raw materials, tire sections, and completed product lines which can be found around the world.
Their last stop for the night was a special dinner on Beer Street which holds Qingdao’s famous Tingtao Beer Museum. That night customers were serenaded by the many roaming musicians and cooled off with a few pints of China’s most famous beer.
