Building Dreams in the Mountains – Sailun Makes Donation to Anzhuang Primary School
Recently, a group of Qingdao listed companies held the opening ceremony for Anshun public warfare projects in Anshun, Guizhou. The deputy director of Qingdao Securities Regulatory Commission, Zhang Zhaobing, the head of listed company supervision department, Li Shiwei, the member of Standing Committee and deputy mayor of Anshun, Xia Zhengqi, the deputy mayor, Liao Xiaolong, Zhang Xing, and representatives from 12 Qingdao listed companies, including Sailun, provided donations to the representatives of Anshun.
During the meeting, the deputy mayor, Liao Xiaolong declared that the donation from Qingdao enterprises to Anshun is a “heart-warming action”. “Giving back to society will benefit the current and the future generations.” He sincerely thanked the Qingdao Securities Regulatory Commission and 12 Qingdao Listed companies.
Today, the number of public warfare projects supported by Qingdao enterprises totals 16; Sailun Group has donated to Anzhuang Primany School in Huangguoshu, Anshun City. The school has 6 classes, 162 students, and 14 staff. The donated funds will be used to build multifunction classrooms and help purchase books, teaching equipment, computers and other supporting facilities for Anzhuang Primany School to improve the school environment and teaching capabilities.
Sailun Group is enthusiastic about giving back and strives to fulfill its social responsibility. For many years Sailun donated money to Ya'an earthquake-stricken areas, held fund-raising events with the international charity World Child Cancer, made donations to help charity and local school of Qingdao economic and technological development zone, and awarded scholarship to excellent students of Vietnam Ton Duc Thang University. In September, 2017, Sailun reached a new step for public welfare career and established the “Sailun Charity Foundation” to perform social charity activities including poverty alleviation, disaster relief, medical assistance, and education support.
