Sailun Tire Named in the "Asian 500 Most Valuable Brands"

On August 27th, World Brand Lab held the "Asia Brand Summit" in Hong Kong and released the 2019 rankings for "Asian 500 Most Valuable Brands". This is the 14th time that World Brand Lab has evaluated the influence of Asian brands; a total of 500 brands from 22 countries and regions were selected, and for the first time, Sailun Tire was named on that list at #386.



The most important evaluation criteria of the "Asian 500 Most Valuable Brands" is brand influence in Asia markets which refers to the ability to develop, occupy, and obtain profits from the various Asia markets. Market Share, Brand Loyalty and Asian Leadership are the three basic criteria used by the World Brand Lab to evaluate the influence of Asian brands. The list was made and released as a co-op between the World Brand Lab and World Executive Group. As an International brand value research institute, the experts and consultants of World Brand Lab have backgrounds from Harvard, Yale, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, INSEAD and other top institutions in the world. The group’s research results are an important basis to the evaluation of the intangible assets in enterprise mergers and acquisitions, and as an "Asia Brand Vane" to determine the direction brands are heading.



Sailun Tire has been on the list of "China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands" since 2017 as its brand value increased from 21.882 billion CNY to 40.285 billion CNY, however this is the first year it is listed in the "Asian 500 Most Valuable Brands". The rapid growth of Sailun brand value is the result of continuous efforts by our valuable teams to build a clear and defined brand.



On July 17th, 2019, Sailun and Valencia CF, one of the oldest and most well-recognized football clubs in La Liga, officially signed a strategic partnership agreement. This agreement secures Sailun as the global tire partner of Valencia CF from 2019-2022, and can be seen on the field right beside the Valencia CF team in La Liga and European football matches, as well as on the chests of the VCF academy team.



To cement its standing and showcase capabilities in the global tire industry, Sailun has been upping its investment and actively participating in various professional off-road and drifting events. These events help to test new product concepts and quality for application in the civil sector. In 2019, Sailun won three world championships in the internationally recognized "2019 Silk Way Rally", proving the strength of Chinese tire brands on the international stage.
