Sailun Showcases Top Products at Guangrao Tire Exhibition
The 13th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition was held at the Guangrao International Expo Center in Shandong province from May 15th to the 17th. Sailun Group showcased its EcoPoint3 passenger car and truck tires as well as MAXAM tires at the exhibition. Sailun’s booth attracted a large number of people, including professional clients, original equipment manufacturers and other exhibitors.
Sailun exhibited six new EcoPoint3 passenger car tire series, including EV dedicated Rovelo RE61, Sailun S01 for luxury cars, Sailun C01 for city driving, the ultra-high performance Roadx DU71, Blackhawk HU71 and Sailun US71, as well as premium customized EcoPoint3 tires.
Sailun launched the six new range of passenger car tires this year for mid- to high-end users. In particular, the EV series was developed for mid- to high-end users of electric cars and SUVs to meet the higher technical performance requirements of new electric vehicles, such as rolling resistance, quietness, wear resistance and grip. Meanwhile, the luxury car tire series is aimed at owners of coupes, as well as luxury electric cars and SUVs. The city driving series is ideal for mid- to high-end SUV models, while the ultra-high performance series is targeted at drivers of luxury sports sedans and SUVs. Testing from third-party organization TÜV SÜD found the new EcoPoint3 tires’ longitudinal skid resistance, wet braking, wet handling, dry braking, dry handling and rolling resistance performance were better than mainstream European tire brands.
The lineup of new EcoPoint3 truck and bus tires at the expo can also be described as “luxurious”. Four types of EcoPoint3 truck and bus tires were unveiled at the expo, including CITYCONVOY E, SAR2E, SFL1 and SFR26. The China Rubber Industry Association has tested and certified the SFL1 after its rolling resistance, skid resistance and noise acquired the highest grade A. It is currently the only tire in China that achieved the 3A grade in the association’s Tire Classification Standards. Truck and bus drivers are mainly concerned about fuel efficiency, driving safety and comfort as these three aspects are related to cost and driving experience over long distances. The low rolling resistance, strong grip and quietness of EcoPoint3 truck and bus tires can address driving challenges facing truck and bus drivers.
Sailun also featured special tires from its sister company MAXAM, including the bestselling MS951R agricultural tire, MS306 dump truck tire and MS502 underground mining tire. In particular, the MS951R agricultural tire attracted a large crowd who stopped by to take photos. Since launching its first special tire in 2009, Sailun has developed a full range of mining truck tires, such as 14.00R25, 16.00R25, 18.00R25, 16.00R29 and its latest top product 480/95R29, which is used by Caterpillar Inc, Sany Heavy Industry, XCMG and other heavy equipment manufacturers. The company also supplies tires to dozens of major mines around the world.
