Sailun And Chapel Corner Support Racing Champion
Sailun Australia and Chapel Corner teamed up to sponsor a Junior Track Cycling champion up to defender her world title at the UCI Junior Track Cycling Championships in Kazakhstan.
An 18 year old Melbourne track cyclist, Courtney Field, is a rising star in the cycling world and is anything but a pushover. She is the current Junior World Sprint champion and has been breaking national records at every Australian Championship since the age of 14. Her endless drive has earned her titles such as Victorian Junior Cyclist of the Year, for the past three years in a row, and was also awarded Victorian Junior Athlete of the Year earlier this year by the Victorian Institute of Sport.
Courtney was sponsored by both Sailun Tyres and Chapel Corner Tyres in her quest to represent Australia last weekend in the 2015 Junior World Championships in Kazakhstan. In the lead up to the event Courtney’s training had been hampered by illness, but recovered strongly to win two Silver Medals in the Sprint and Keirin Events.
