Sailun – The Quality Product Chosen by Champions - 2019 Racing Competitions Announcement Ceremony
On April 9th 2019 at the Qingdao International Conference and Exhibition Center, Sailun Group announced their intention to enter various racing competitions in 2019 including the Taklimakan International Rally. Chairman Yuan Zhongxue, China Marketing Director of Sailun Group Sales Center Yin Zhimin, Assistant GM and PCR Technical Director Huang Hanwen, Team Manager of Sailun Tire Off-road Team Yin Lixin and racing drivers of the Sailun Team were in attendance for the press conference.
The announcement covered Sailun Group’s active participation in various racing competitions for this year. China Marketing Director of Sailun Group Yin Zhimin stated that “the racetrack is the best field for testing the performance of automobiles and automobile parts. Over the past four years, Sailun Group has vigorously participated in racing competitions in different fields. Sailun Group first began by participating in the Taklimakan Rally in which they have won 2 group championships and 1 runner-up. Sailun Group’s newest racing participation was in the 2018 season of D1GP China of which they won two championships in both singles and drift chase races and 4 individual race championships. The Sailun Tire Drift Team was depending on the excellent performance and product quality of Sailun Tire as a strong guarantee for the team to win the 2018 championship; that is their plan again for 2019. Sailun Group will participate in 7 racing competitions this year including off-road, drift and truck races. Sailun’s off-road racing team will participate in the Taklimakan Rally, Silk Road Off-road Race, Chinese Circuit Off-road Championship, China Kunlun Off-road Rally, and Asian Baja Rally. As for drifting, the Sailun Tire Drift Team will again participate in the highest level of drifting competition in the world, D1GP, in China. In addition, Sailun Group will cooperate with Zero Mileage Team to participate in the China Truck Racing Championship in June.

Sailun Group participates in these racing competitions not only to demonstrate the performance and quality of tires to consumers, but also to continuously accumulate professional technical experience to improve product research and development capabilities. Sailun Group’s China Marketing Director, Yin Zhimin, said in his speech, “To ‘Make Good Tires’ is the mission of Sailun Group and also the commitment to users and the society. In 2019, Sailun Group will continue to actively participate in all kinds of racing competitions, improve the performance of our entire product offerings, such as semi-slick racing tires, SUV off-road tires, ultra-high performance tires, and truck and bus tires through the testing grounds of different competitions, and provide more valuable products and services to customers.”
2019 Taklimakan International Rally Race will kick off on May 20th in Aksu, Xinjiang. Yin Zhimin also took the chance to introduce this year’s off-road racing tire products, “this year, Sailun Group has developed a new set of tire products, the SV12 and specialized tire SM81, for off-road competition. These two new patterns, with their high-speed cornering stability, strong grip, impact resistance, and excellent off-road performance, will provide Zhengzhou Nissan Navarre with a strong guarantee to take the championship again!”

Team Manager of Sailun Tire Off-Road Team Yin Lixin is full of confidence and said that all of the team members will be united moving forward and are ready to win in order to reward the sponsorship and support of Sailun Group. Through their excellent performance, Sailun will show the world the value of China's tire brands, and convey the competition spirit of a “hard struggle and braving challenge” to customers.
Flag-giving ceremony
A flag-giving ceremony was held during the press conference. China Marketing Director of Sailun Group Yin Zhimin transferred the flag of the Sailun Tire Off-Road Team to Team Manager Yin Lixin, and he waved the flag to audiences. The finishing of the flag-giving ceremony signifies the beginning of the Sailun Tire Off-Road Team’s expedition as a representative of Sailun Group, and their undertaking the responsibility to be champions in the five off-road racing competitions in 2019.
Assistant GM and PCR Technical Director Huang Hanwen and racing driver representative Song Haitao commented and explained the good quality of Sailun Tire.
