CAMBODIA DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER VISITS SAILUN CAMBODIA
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Vice President of the Cambodian People’s Party Men Sam An paid a visit to Sailun Cambodia on May 1 to learn more about the manufacturing facility’s operations.
During the visit, Men Sam An and her delegation learned about the tire manufacturing process and the company’s development vision. She was also informed of operational challenges facing the company and had discussions with employees to better understand their daily work and skills training.
Sailun Cambodia General Manager Wang Chuanwei briefed the visitors on developments at the manufacturing facility since it began producing tires last year. He said Cambodia’s conducive business environment and favorable investment climate have attracted more foreign-funded companies to set up their operations in the country. As the first tire manufacturing company in Cambodia, Sailun will bring in cutting-edge tire manufacturing technology, create more jobs for locals and promote economic growth.
Men Sem An expressed her gratitude to Sailun Group for investing in Cambodia, and stressed that the Cambodian government will strive to create a better business climate for foreign-funded companies. She also encouraged Sailun to continue its strategy of fostering high-quality development, while creating more employment opportunities and promoting close economic cooperation between the two countries.
